1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Crew's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.

2. Service Description

Crew provides AI-powered humanoid waiter services for events in New York City. Our services include:

  • Professional humanoid crew members for event hospitality
  • Beverage service, guest greeting, and table service
  • Flexible 2-hour booking blocks between 6 PM and midnight
  • White-glove service for private events and gatherings

3. Service Availability

Our services are currently available exclusively in New York City (NYC zip codes only). We reserve the right to expand or limit service areas at our discretion. Service availability is subject to crew scheduling and may not be available for all requested dates and times.

4. Reservations and Bookings

4.1 Booking Process

To reserve our services, you must provide accurate information including your name, email, phone number, event address, date, time slots, and service requirements. All reservations require payment in full at the time of booking.

4.2 Pricing

Services are priced at $450 per 2-hour block. You may book multiple contiguous blocks for longer events. All prices are in USD and include applicable taxes. Prices are subject to change, but confirmed reservations will honor the price at the time of booking.

4.3 Payment

Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit cards. Payment must be completed to confirm your reservation. You will receive a confirmation email upon successful payment.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • 7 days/ 168+ hours before event: Full refund (100%)
  • 2 days/ 48+ hours before event: 50% refund
  • Less than 48 hours: No refund

To request a cancellation, contact us at support@hirekrew.com. Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days.

6. Service Modifications

If you need to modify your reservation (date, time, or service requirements), please contact us at least 48 hours before your scheduled event. We will accommodate changes subject to availability. Modifications within 48 hours may not be possible.

7. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate event address and access information
  • Ensure a safe working environment for our crew
  • Provide adequate space for crew operations
  • Notify us of any special requirements or restrictions at the venue
  • Treat our crew with respect and professionalism
  • Not interfere with crew programming or operations

8. Video Recording and Data Usage

By booking our services, you acknowledge and consent that:

  • Our humanoid crew members are equipped with cameras that record video during service
  • Video data collected may include images of you, your guests, and your event environment
  • This video data will be de-identified and used for AI training and service improvement purposes
  • You are responsible for informing your guests about video recording at your event

For detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect video data, please review our Privacy Policy. If you do not consent to video recording and data usage, please do not book our services.

9. Liability and Insurance

Crew maintains comprehensive liability insurance for our services. However, we are not liable for:

  • Damage caused by client negligence or third parties
  • Loss or damage to client property not directly caused by our crew
  • Injuries resulting from client or guest actions
  • Service interruptions due to force majeure events

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, power failures, or other force majeure events. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule or provide a full refund.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property related to Crew services remain our exclusive property. You may not use our branding, technology, or proprietary information without written permission.

12. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in New York, NY, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
